A short film created for TikTok which was shot and edited on an iPhone.
I was a guest host for the Particle Podcast where we talk about science and the people who just love it.
The Wonder Kids podcast was created for Scitech Discovery Centre during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic.
All episodes were recorded and produced at home with remote collaborations with multiple science presenters.
Toy Tear Down was created for Scitech Discovery Centre.
In the YouTube series, we take well known toys and tear them down to see what’s inside and use science to understand how they work.
For each episode, I fulfilled the duties of filming assistant and research/scriptwriting.
Please Look Up is a monthly audio guide to the WA night sky as seen from Perth – for audiences aged 18-25 years. Both The Audio Guide to the Galaxy and Please Look Up are created from the same recording session. However, Scitech and Particle have very different target audiences. So, we mix the two podcasts in different styles.
In contrast to The Audio Guide to the Galaxy, Please Look Up is longer and also has a few extra questions that are more suitable for an older audience who are already invested in all things astronomy.
I produced each episode from March 2023 – April 2024.
Elements is an exploration of how the classical elements of water, earth, fire and air shape the people of Western Australia and our physical environment.
I executive produced the whole series and did final sound mixing for all episodes.
In season one, I hosted episode four titled ‘Can we fight the ocean?’ which explores the topic of coastal erosion in Western Australia.
Season two was published in January 2024 with an investigation into the element of fire.
The Audio Guide to the Galaxy is a monthly guide to the WA night sky as seen from Perth, created for the casual star gazer. The target audience is a young family with kids in primary school.
I coordinated and produced each episode between January 2023 – April 2024.
7am is a daily news podcast. It is the big story, the news that defines the moment. It’s what you need to know: who’s involved, what it means and why it matters. It’s news with narrative, every weekday.
7am is like listening to a short story. It takes you in and lets a scene unfold detail by detail. The principles are taken from documentary filmmaking more than from radio.
I contributed to the podcast between July-October 2024 as an Audio Producer.
